So last time we met, we discussed how to prepare for a Caucasian friend’s weddings with @RegularAssRon and the stories I’ve heard since writing that were great. Brothas are out here ready to make moves at these weddings and for that? We’re proud.
Moving right along, this week we are going to discuss The Nash Alley Oop.

We all know who Steve Nash is. Steve Nash is one of the best passing PGs we have ever seen play in our generation. You can even call him a court Wizard if you want. As a Lakers fan, he tormented my team for years as a Phoenix Sun.

One thing about Good White Friends is they will toss you the prettiest alley oop/pass to things life has to offer. I know this because I’ve been receiving feeds from them since forever. Good white friends, male or female, have a way of knowing what you’re all about and trying to put you on to everything such as sports, travels, stocks, jobs, and plenty more. Sometimes, the advice I have laid out for you all won’t work unless you can catch a potential cosign from a good white friend because nothing is 100% in the bag in life.

Brian, up above, likes a Bunny and knows he can be her everything but can’t find the right way in.

Adam just happens to know her and puts in a good word for you.

Brotha succeeds in speaking to Bunny and a beautiful union forms. The End.

Now does it play out like that every time? Absolutely not but it can depending on who you know.

As a brotha, we assume our own will always hook us up left and right but sometimes it can be a hook up with a catch or a fake one because face it, some brothas are out to keep stepping over people to get their shine on. No hate on that whatsoever, but it’s 2012 and we have to realize we can all help each other out no matter if we’re black or white.

The cool thing about Good White Friends and Nash-like alley oops is the variety. It never gets old because just like basketball, sweet dimes from a PG are always appreciated by other players. I can sit here and tell you, I became good with my beer choices because the good man @blunted215 once told me, “Life’s too short to be drinking Bud products” and from there I graduated to Craft Beer Ace. Even attended a beer fest with him and @NOMADIC215 all because a Good White Friend showed me the path to greatness.

All of this being said, find yourself Good White Friend(s) to get your experience up. Diversify your everyday moves and add to your life game because in the end, all of us brothas can use a Nash-like alley oops/passes in these interesting times.
