I can’t be the only one who heard the hook on “Made In America” and felt……well, I don’t know how I felt…..confused maybe? Yea I guess I felt confused.
“Sweeeet baby jeeeesus”
As soon as I heard Frank Ocean utter those words It killed my whole vibe. In no way am I saying the song is wack. The song is cool. My problem is, In my opinion it’s mad funny. Messes up the serious feel of the song. Maybe it’s just me though. Maybe it was the weed. I’m all for jesus…I swear I am, but it just didn’t feel right to me. I refuse to believe Jay-Z thought it was dope. This had to be a Kanye playcall. No doubt in my mind. I listened to it last night at least 10 times straight and was in tears. I’m pretty sure that’s not the reaction that song is suppose to pull out of me.
Somebody please tell me I’m not alone on this.
I thought I was the only one that felt like this lol. That shit had me in tears laughing.
Ok cool because i thought maybe something was wrong with my soul lol
I’ve yet to hear anyone feel the same as you on this one. I’m not following or understanding where the humorous angle of him singing sweet baby Jesus comes into play.
U are not alonee ! Lol
Yo I feel you. I know he was telling Jesus, that they made it to the high life in America… and then I thought they were literally saying “Sweet baby Jesus…we made it in America”…. as in Jesus was an American-invention. Nonetheless, its kind of obvious its a Kanye thing… it did ruin the vibe though. Especially since Ocean is Odd Future?!?
Fucc this hook it ruined the song.. and I didn’t even kno wtf he was talkin about
I must admit, it is weird and I don’t quite understand where it came from, but I agree with dockdoc. I think he was saying “Sweet baby Jesus…we made it in America”, a country where black men struggle to make it every day. They overcame the struggle and made it. They reached heights that only a few black men will ever have the honor to see.
That shit was wack juice .. well at least the hook is… I just dont get why they rapping over this church shit o yea if u need an ipad2 2 http://freeipad2nyc.blogspot.com/ follow me @RockeyNicohls

I blame the luminati
I think he was saying they made Jesus up I America Cuz I’m sure he’s not for Jesus
Deff a ye Call.
Yall lookin too deep. Its from Talladega Nights: Legend of Ricky Bobby. Will Ferells character is praying at the dinner table and prays to baby Jesus because he likes him more than older bearded Jesus.
